iOS Security Expert (Permanent Position)

Job description:
You will work with our development team on creating and expanding our apps, as well as integrating our modules into our clients’ apps. You will take on technical project management for individual projects and work closely with the team within agile structures. You will work as part of a team in a focused and independent manner, and know how to make good use of the autonomy you are given.
Required skills:
- A solid grasp of cryptography, security and hardening
- Experience in developing professional iOS apps
- Expert knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit and Objective-C
- Conceptual and analytical skills
- A passion for app development and design
- German (fluent), English (fluent)
Nice to have
- Experience in C and C++
- Experience in developing Android apps
Your profile
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity or a comparable qualification
- Several years’ professional experience in iOS app development, ideally with projects in the field of security
- Expertise in security protocols, encryption techniques and authentication mechanisms
- Experience with security-related frameworks and libraries
- Knowledge of secure software development processes and the Secure Development Lifecycle
- Good problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset
- Ability to work as part of a team and strong communication skills

Security Expert Desktop / Server (Permanent position)

Job description:
You will work with our development team on the design, implementation and maintenance of security-related features in applications and backend services. The role involves carrying out threat analyses and vulnerability assessments to identify and rectify security vulnerabilities, developing and integrating security policies, processes and tools into the development cycle, and conducting code reviews with a focus on security and best practice.
You should have the following qualities:
- In-depth knowledge of programming, configuration and operation:
- Desktop: Linux / macOS / Windows
- Server: Linux (Server setup, Hardening, Monitoring)
- Ability to identify and resolve security issues independently.
- Languages: C, Go, Python, Bash
- Attention to detail: Careful analysis and implementation of security-related requirements.
- Critical thinking: the ability to anticipate and prevent potential security vulnerabilities.
- Resilience: Dealing with challenging and urgent security issues.
- Team-oriented approach: collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Nice to have
- Network setup and network security
- Experience with complex security architectures
- Familiarity with data protection laws and regulations (e.g. the GDPR)
